To Configure Split Delivery using Google Apps :

In order to Configure the Split Delivery Using Google Apps , First We Need to Configure the Host ( destination to which mail will be routed for Non Recognized address ). Once the Host is configured then we need to set up a default routing and define the routing under default routing.

  1. Define the Host :

To Configure the Host , Go to Google Apps in Control Panel and Go to Gmail Settings and there Select Hosts and the Add Route , then You add the destination address to which you want to route the mail and mentioned the port as 25.

  1. Default Routing :

Once the Host is defined , the we need to define the routing for all non recognized address using the host we defined . Unde gmail setting you will find the default routing . Under Default Routing You choose for “ All Recipients” and then Change Route to “Host we defined under Hosts” and if you scroll down you have to select whether you want to perform this routing to All non recognized address or recognized as well. Choose Non Recognized address and click on save.

Now All the Mails marked to Non Recognized addressed (Not Present in Google Apps) , will route through the Host defined under Control Panel.

  1. Setup Forwarding for account on Google Apps in Legacy mail server for Local Mails :

Setup forwarding on the legacy server for the accounts which is there on Google Apps , in order to receive them Local emails and mail marked to Groups. For forwarding use a test alias domain (domain.com.test-google-a.com) and setup forwarding on legacy mail server.
